Dayle Turns Author
Last week, Dayle and Linda and I decided to try Zucca, the new restaurant on Decatur Square where Zocalo used to be. The food was yummy and Steve, one of the owners, came out to talk to us after the meal (apropos my usual request). Dayle was surprised to learn from Steve that the City of Decatur only provides a recycling plan for cardboard. All those bottles from the Zucca bar, once filled with tasty brew, end up swimming in the landfills.
After Steve left, Dayle announced that she would write about Zucca for the Georgia Green Dining Guide. She also intends to follow up with the city to see whazzup regarding the recycling so stay tuned.
