All tapped out and no place to go

Just in case you haven't seen enough scary food films this year, here's one more that ought to push you over the edge. Tapped, brought to you by the producers of Who Killed the Electric Car and I.O.U.S.A., illuminates the dangers of bottled water. As you know, these hazards include chemical leaching, significant energy usage with zero added value and of course, the humongous problem of plastic waste as symbolized by that swirling sea of poisons right in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Although I personally agree with the film's message, I haven't yet grasped how bottled water alone is bad, but when combined with corn syrup and artificial flavoring camouflages itself well enough to stay out of the line of fire. Maybe it's just me, so help me out if you can.

Anyway, take a peek at the trailer here, and if you want to see the movie go to Rome's film fest or buy the DVD and host your own screening.

And please, put down the bottle.
