Now you can be good to the planet and to your pocketbook at the same time. Half Off Green, a joint venture between the Atlanta Intown newspaper and restaurant environmental educators, Green Plate, are issuing coupons that are good for deep discounts at select Atlanta area restaurants.

In order to participate, restaurants must be willing to recycle, eschew the Styrofoam and commit to continuing green practices. Half off coupons can be ordered through the Half Off Green web site for the six restaurants that were chosen for the service's IPO, including Moe's on Ponce, Repast, Java Vino, Radial, Milltown Tavern and Wasabi.

We've had the honor of dining at a few of these greenies before. Looks like now we'll be able to afford to check out the rest of them.
